James (Jimmy) Rowe

Jimmy is a 50-year resident of Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Over his career, he has held various titles to show his skill and expertise in the industry, such as the Past director of First Financial Holdings, Inc., dba First Federal Bank, Board of the South Carolina Wind and Hail Association, and served two three-year terms as a Director for Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of South Carolina. Furthermore, he has also been a Director for Palmetto Electric Cooperative and Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc., Commissioner for Broad Creek Public Service District, President of Rowe Farms, LLC, Managing Partner of Tier II Real Estate Investment Trust, Partner in Sea Shack LLC and MC&F Properties, as well as Past President of the Van Landingham Rotary Club. In addition, Jimmy was a director for the Hilton Head/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina. He received the Young Agent of the Year Award in 1984 and the Hayne P. Glover Agent of the Year Award in 2001 from the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of South Carolina. He is also a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church on Hilton Head Island, SC, and has served on the Board of the Hilton Head Christian Academy as Treasurer for the Academy. In addition, he has been appointed to the Palmetto Economic Development Board dba South Carolina Power Team. Jimmy is married to Phyllis Jessen and has two daughters and six grandchildren.
